What is the difference between a personalised children's book and a regular book?

A personalised children's book is created specifically for your child: their name appears on every page, the main character looks like them, and the story takes their personality and hobbies into account. A regular book is for everyone. A Pitiboo book is for your child alone.
How long does it take to create the personalised book?

Creation and illustration takes 3 to 5 business days. You then receive a complete preview by email. After your approval, printing and delivery within Switzerland takes 4 to 5 business days. Total: 7 to 10 business days.
Can I order a personalised book for siblings?

Yes! Up to 3 children can appear as main characters in the same book. This is our most popular option for siblings. Simply choose the number of children in the order form. Each child gets their own character that resembles them.
Does the book really feature my child?

Yes! Your child's name is mentioned on every page, the main character physically resembles them, and the story takes their personality and passions into account. The more detailed your description, the more personal the book.
What happens if I am not happy with the preview?

Two cases: if the error is on our side (text mistake, unsuccessful illustration, forgotten or incorrectly rendered element from your order), we correct it for free, as many times as needed. If you are still not satisfied after that, we refund the full amount. Changes to elements not specified in the form (adding a character, changing clothing or settings chosen by our illustrators) are charged CHF 5.– per illustration and CHF 25.– for an additional character. Text adjustments such as a dedication remain free. That is why we encourage you to fill in the form as completely as possible!
Are my child's photos safe?

Your photos are used solely to create the illustrations and are deleted from our servers after delivery. They are never shared, sold, or used for any other purpose.
Can I have a dedication written in the book?

Yes, absolutely! Mention it in the "Message" field of the form. We will add your personal dedication on the first page of the book. A lovely touch that makes the gift even more special.
What age is the personalised children's book suitable for?

The book is suitable for children aged 2 to 10. The language and story are adapted to the child's age. For a 2-year-old we write a simple, image-rich story; for an 8-year-old a more adventurous one.
