Pitiboo is a Swiss provider of illustrated, personalized children's books in which every child becomes the main character of their own story.
The idea behind Pitiboo
Pitiboo grew from a simple belief: children who see themselves in the stories read to them develop a love of reading and self-confidence more easily. A book in which the child shares the hero's name, looks like them, and lives adventures with their own family is not a novelty item. It is something you keep.
The service was founded in Western Switzerland to meet a local need: a truly personalized book, illustrated in a watercolor style, printed and delivered in Switzerland, in French, German, and English. Not a name simply inserted into a generic story. A story written for exactly that child.

How Pitiboo works
You fill in an online form describing your child: first name, age, hair color, eye color, personality, and who will accompany them on the adventure. You can also add a photo so the illustration looks even more like your child.
Our team writes the story and creates the illustrations to order. You then receive a complete PDF preview to approve. You can request corrections. Once you have given the go-ahead, the book is printed and sent directly to your home.
The result: a hardcover book, 20 x 20 cm, with a matt laminated cover, that your child will read and re-read for years.
Our promises
Print quality. Books are printed on 170 gsm coated paper with a hardcover and matt lamination. A picture-book format that fits perfectly in children's hands.
Free preview. You see the complete book before it is printed. If something is not right, we correct it. If you are still not satisfied after corrections, we refund the full amount.
Privacy. The information you share (description of your child, optional photo) is used solely to create your book. It is never sold or used for any other purpose.
